Cottage Lane Subway tiles paired with our Solana Glass Mosaic tiles
Monday, March 7th, 2011We wanted to show you some product combinations that look really nice together using items from some of our different product categories. The first two products that we decided to spotlight involve our subway tiles and our glass mosaic tiles. This combination might not be so obvious which is why we have selected it first.
For those working on a kitchen backsplash with a large area to cover and for those working on any shower tiling project, we have a subway tile and a glass mosaic tile combination that might just be right for you. Have a look at our Cottage Lane subway tiles and our Solana Glass Mosaic tiles in 1” x 1”.
Let’s go beyond the snowflake white and the summer beige color and choose our sleeper color which we call Almond. We have had our cottage lane subway tiles in development for some time and last summer 2010 when we added colors to our Solana glass mosaic tile collection we actually created the Seychelles color blend with the Almond cottage lane color in mind. The colors in the Seychelles glass mosaic tile blend work very well in combination with our almond subway tile color.
How to put the two together? Use the Seychelles blend as an accent strip to add color when using the almond color subway tiles for a kitchen backsplash or a bathroom shower. Or, use the Seychelles glass mosaic tile blend and cut them in to 2” x 2” or 3” x 3” squares to serve as accent pieces placed at different points along a backsplash installation or in a tiled shower. Glass tiles serve as a wonderful accent choice when used together with subway tiles that are installed in a large tiled area that needs some color.
Give us a call if you have any questions about incorporating glass tiles in to your subway tile design. For those considering our almond color subway tiles together with our Solana Seychelles color glass mosaic tiles, we would be willing to discount your order in return for photos of the completed installation showing both tiles used together. If this is you, please do give us a call closer to the time when you are ready to proceed with your project.
