How can that be? Mortgage rates have matched their lows on 30-year fixed mortgages at 3.94%. The average 15-year fixed rate mortgage dropped to 3.21% which is the lowest on record. All of this and the housing market still remains depressed. Not sure why this is but if rates stay at these levels for any length of time, can’t we finally expect some “pep” and a little “giddy-up” in Housing purchases?
